Team 109: Strong Weekend in France

It was a solid return from the summer break for Team 109, proudly sponsored by MMD Construction, at the latest round of the 2025 FIM Supersport 300 World Championship in Magny-Cours, France.

Benat Fernandez showed his trademark resilience after being handed a back-of-the-grid penalty in Saturday’s race. Despite the setback, the young Spaniard charged through the field to finish 11th, earning valuable points for the championship.

Sunday’s race proved even more dramatic, with Fernandez battling in the leading group throughout. He crossed the line 5th, narrowly missing the podium after a last-lap incident between other riders. His pace was underlined by claiming the Pirelli Best Lap Award, a testament to both his speed and determination.

With these results, Fernandez extends his lead at the top of the World Championship standings to 11 points, with six races left to run across Aragon, Estoril, and Jerez.

The whole Team 109 camp remains focused and motivated, ready to push for more success when the championship resumes at Motorland Aragon in three weeks’ time.
