MMD Construction Joins Lean Construction Ireland as Gold Members

We are proud to announce that MMD Construction has joined Lean Construction Ireland (LCi) as a Gold Member.

This important milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to embedding Lean principles across every facet of our organisation. While Lean Construction is often associated with improving efficiency on-site, at MMD, we recognise that the true value of Lean thinking lies in its ability to drive continuous improvement across all departments—including Quality, Planning, Procurement, HR, and beyond.

As a company, we are continually evolving. Embracing Lean allows us to sharpen our focus on value creation, waste reduction, collaboration, and innovation—ensuring we deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients while supporting the professional growth of our people.

We were delighted to recently welcome Derek Sinnott, Chair of Lean Construction Ireland, to our offices for an engaging and forward-looking conversation with our team. His visit marked the beginning of a valuable partnership with LCi, one that will support and inspire our Lean journey as we continue to build on our foundation of operational excellence.

LCi’s acknowledgement of our leadership, openness to learning, and commitment to cross-functional collaboration further affirms our vision to be at the forefront of innovation within the Irish construction industry.

As Gold Members, we look forward to contributing to the wider Lean community, sharing our experiences, and learning from others who are equally committed to building a better, more efficient, and more sustainable industry.

“MMD recognises and embraces the value Lean can bring, not only on-site, but right across the organisation… Their leadership, openness, and enthusiasm for collaboration are exactly what the LCi community is all about.”
