Mental Health Awareness Week- Lighthouse Charity Site Visit

To support Mental Health Awareness Week, we were delighted to welcome representatives from The Lighthouse Charity to our North West Regeneration site.

Justin and Fergus spent time with our site team delivering an engaging wellbeing session focused on mental health awareness, support services, and the importance of speaking openly about wellbeing within the construction industry. By bringing these conversations directly onto site, the session helped create a supportive environment where employees felt encouraged to engage and ask questions.

One of the key moments of the visit was a powerful talk from Justin, who shared personal and industry insights around mental health and workplace safety. His message highlighted the importance of looking after both ourselves and those around us, while also emphasising the strong link between mental wellbeing and maintaining a safe working environment. The session prompted valuable conversations among teams and was very positively received across the site.

Throughout the week, additional toolbox talks were held across all of our projects to further raise awareness of mental health and remind employees of the support and resources available to them. Within our office, desk drops were organised to encourage staff to take time to pause, reset, and reflect on the importance of mental wellbeing in everyday life.

Mental health awareness continues to be an important focus across our business, and initiatives such as these play a key role in promoting a positive, supportive, and inclusive workplace culture.

We would like to thank The Lighthouse Charity, Justin, Fergus and all of our Team Members for their time, openness, and engagement during the week.
