MMD Construction was delighted to attend the Women in Construction in Ireland (WICI) event in Cork this week, which brought together professionals from across the industry for an engaging morning of networking and discussion.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to connect with industry peers, exchange perspectives, and reflect on the future of construction and career development within the sector.

Several important themes emerged throughout the morning, including the value of strong support networks, confidence in career progression, and the recognition that there are many different pathways into the construction industry. As the sector continues to evolve, events brought about by WICI, play an important role in highlighting the wide range of opportunities available across engineering, project management, commercial, design, HR, and site-based roles.
