MMD Celebrates Finalist Recognition at Health & Safety Excellence Awards

We are incredibly proud to share that we have been named finalists in not one, but two categories at the Health & Safety Excellence Awards!

Health and Safety Excellence Award
This nomination reflects a year of meaningful action and collaboration across our teams. Key initiatives included visits from Fergus Farrell and Andy Bishop of the Lighthouse Charity to our sites, achieving the NISO Regional Award (South), supporting the CIF Safety Campaign “Back to Basics” and the HSA Working at Height campaign, and enhancing our auditing processes through Procore to improve overall safety performance.

Mental Health and Wellbeing Initiative
This nomination highlights the genuine commitment across MMD to supporting our employee. Throughout the year, our teams came together to deliver a range of initiatives, including World Health Day, Men’s Health Week activities, Workplace Wellbeing Day, participation in Hell & Back for the Lighthouse Charity, “Tea & Talks” for World Suicide Prevention Day, health checks and flu vaccinations, monthly wellbeing communications, Mental Health First Aider training, and achieving Great Place to Work certification.

These milestones are a direct reflection of our employees and the collective effort to build a workplace where safety, wellbeing, and support come first.
