Latest News > Asian Sanctuary Opens at Fota Wildlife Park
MMD Construction recently completed works to the new Fota Wildlife Asian Sanctuary. The 27 acre expansion has opened the way for the arrival of some of the worlds most endangered species including Smatran Tigers, Visayan Spotted Deer, Visayan Warty Pigs, Lion Tailed Macaques and an Indian Rhino.
The impetus for the development of the Asian Experience was to enhance the Wildlife Park to become an iconic international visitor attraction. The concept of the development was in line with the existing unique open nature of the wildlife park but was designed to give the new development an authentic Asian ambiance.
