For the fourth day of Construction Safety Week, MMD Construction organised a "Plant & Equipment" talk at the Cork City North West Primary Care Construction Site.

EHS Manager Damian Harrington organised a tool box talk, with the following topics discussed;

The requirements of machinery for the purposes of construction work, as set out in Schedule 7 of the 2013 Construction Regulations

Mobile phones not permitted when operating machinery or within the vicinity of machinery

Safe and suitable access and egress

Reading and understanding Operation and Maintenance Manuals

Maintenance of machinery

Conformity Certificates

Seat belts

CSCS training for all operatives
