Local Authority and Council Work

MMD Construction Cork Ltd.  carries out a number of local authority housing contracts and industrial works. We complete quality homes and industrial works to a consistently high standard on budget and on time. We liase closely with the Local Councils on the timely progression of each project ensuring that the project deadlines are met.

Projects

Carrigaline Library The project included the Fit- out of Carrigaline Library, Carrigaline, Co. Cork.

Council Depot Killarney The Scope of works for this project includes the construction of 1no. commercial unit with all associated internal fit-out and external works including the provision of services to the site. The new two-storey building consists of a structural steel portal frame with a precast concrete first floor and infill masonry blockwork. The roof consists of a composite roof panel on purlins on steel rafters. Engineers: Malone O Regan McGillicuddy Consulting Engineers

Crosshaven Co Cork The project is located in Crosshaven Co. Cork. It includes the construction of 24 houses with ancillary services, watermains, and roadways.

Kinsale, Co Cork This project was completed in 2003. It consists of 17 council houses/affordale housing and 5 private sites.

Mallow, Co. Cork This project was completed in 2002. It involved the construction of 4,000 sq metres of offices and workshops with extensive site works. The project also involved a number of specialised buildings including alot of specialised mechanical equipment and electrical work.

Ballinspittle, Co Cork This project was completed in 2002. It involved the construction of 7 council houses.
